# Introduction to Executive Function Skills Complete Instructional Guide

This introductory unit lays the groundwork for the Effective Student™ program, focusing on developing executive functioning skills essential for academic success. Through lessons, exercises, and assessments, students learn the value of intentional effort, honest self-assessment, and a growth mindset.

**Core Components:**

- **Student and Teacher Introduction**: Engages students and provides teachers with a guide for facilitating learning.
- **Quizzes, Bulletin, and Curriculum Maps**: Tools to assess understanding, organize content, and aid implementation.
- **Self-Evaluation & Parent Resources**: A baseline survey for students and materials for parents to support the curriculum.

**Unit Goals:**
